Perfect Match - Pittsburgh Engagement

Last year I posted photographs from this Engagement shoot, and now it is getting close to this beautiful couples big day.  Did I mention I have known the bride since first grade?  

 Incredibly excited to get to stand beside her on her big day, and just the same, she will be beside mine next May when I walk down the isle.  

It is such a wonderful thing seeing one of your life long best friends find the one person that truly makes them happy. And these two are really a perfect match.  Here is hoping that everyone reading this has either found, or will find the person that makes them as happy as these two are!

Pittsburgh Pride - Pittsburgh Engagement, North Shore

Do these faces look familiar? They should!  Their wedding was the beautiful destination wedding posted a few days ago.  Not only did I get to photograph their beautiful wedding, but I also got to spend a beautiful black and yellow afternoon with these love birds. 

The couple no longer live in the area but couldn't resist making their way about to the "City of Bridges" for some special snap shots in the North Shore.  And Of course their adorable door made it along for the drive north and was a great addition to the portrait session!

Hayden Aurora - 2 Month Baby Photography

With a name like Hayden Aurora, you know this girl is going to be special.  Only two months old and filled with the ears with personality.  It's no wonder she is daddy's little girl and has mommy wrapped around her finger.  This girl has it going on and will be a heartbreaker some day.

Hayden now takes "tummy time" like a pro, curiously looking anywhere her little neck can turn to.  Once she was on her back, though, her eyes followed me everywhere ( making my job easy). Those baby blues are so fierce and I didn't mind them staring in my camera at all! 

Raise the Jolly Roger - Pittsburgh Engagement Photography

Raise the jolly roger because this couple scored a big with this engagement.  Not only did he propose in Disney World, but he set up a perfect engagement shoot for his fiancé.  What Pittsburgher wouldn't love to have PNC park all to themselves for an hour of pictures with the one they love.  

Growing Baby - One Month Baby Photography

Who doesn't love a baby?  Especially one that does cry, looks right at the camera, giggles and smiles, AND smells like warm vanilla sugar and baby soap.  I must have hit the jackpot photographing this sweet girl again. 

One Fine Day - Pittsburgh Wedding Photography

When I leave a wedding, whether as a guest, bridesmaid, or photographer, I always leave with one word describing the event.  For this wedding, I would have to say the word was FUN.  Having a casual fun venue like Olive or Twist, and having a perfect church like Heinz Chapel does set a great back drop for the day, but the personalities that filled this wedding, made it truly a great work day for me!

Sun Shine and Smiles - Beach Wedding - Destination Wedding Photography

Well it has been rainy and gloomy here in Pittsburgh the past few days, but a wedding I had the honor of shooting was nothing but sunshine and smiles.  

 After taking a short leisurely drive from Pittsburgh to the Emerald Isle in NC, I arrived at my destination, and man was it worth the drive.  This wedding was a photographers dream.  From the ocean front beach house, to the tinkle light draped walk way to the beach, to lace table runners glittered with shells and pearls, to the basket of fleece blankets tied up with twine for the guests….small personal touches and details were around every corner.  And let's not forget about the bride and groom.  When you hear about couples being made for each other, they must be talking about Nicki and Rudy.  Truly a perfect match and genuinely caring, sweet couple.  

I am very much looking forward to more destination weddings, but it will be hard to top this day and the wonderful people that were a part of it.

Welcome to the World Baby Hayden - New Born Photography

It's time to welcome a new sweet baby to the world!  Just moment's after her birth, this little girl was shown an amazing amount of love.

This tiny package of joy may become a cheerleader for her mommy, or a kicker for her daddy's football team, but what ever she becomes, one things for sure….. she is a darn cute baby and I was so happy to capture some of the first memories of her in this world.
